I can not remember a time in my life when I havent had a needle in my hand. My aunt taught me how to sew clothes by hand. I still make French seams whenever I make a skirt or blouse. I dont remember who taught me how to knit. I just seem to remember looking down one day and discovering that with two knitting needles and yarn, I could make a unique sweater. One day when I was living in North Hollywood, California, I went to a craft fair and was bedazzled by a display of beaded purses. I couldnt take my eyes off them. I knew this was what I wanted to do. I did some research and discovered some information about the technique of knitting beaded bags, and I was off. Now it has become a major part of my life. It gives me great pleasure to share my creations with you. Each one is knitted with great care and a lot of love. I also wish to share with you the feeling of serenity and tranquility that encompasses the hours I spend fashioning each of these items. There is a special quality inherent in each of my pieces.
