Our journey with clay started while attending Oregon College of Education in 1974. Michael was an art major focusing on painting and drawing. One day he was invited to visit a professional potter. The potter was firing his kiln, it was at full temperature, with flames and black smoke pouring out of the portholes. At that moment, Michael was hooked and soon after both he and Michele started taking pottery classes. Upon graduation we moved to Bend Oregon in 1976 and with a help from our family, we established our pottery business,
