David Cross began work as an apprenticeship with a well known Lancaster stained glass window firm called Abbot & Co who had an excellent reputation for design, craftsmanship, quality and service. David eventually became the sole artist, designer and painter for the company. After 12 years he decided to start up work on his own and has been very successful. The Art of Glass now has 20 years experience with all aspects of stained glass and leaded windows. Each window is individually designed in conjunction with the clients requiremwnts.
