Polyxeni is from Houston, Texas and often goes by Xenia in Greece, and Polly in the states being that it is hard for some to pronounce. She has a multitude of medias to express her artistic talents including hand crafted jewelry, B/W & color photography, pyrographic creations, polymer clay art & hand coded HTML & CSS web design. After high school, Polly went to the Art Institute of Houston for Photography for two years and has always had some project going whether it was a necklace for Mom or a one-of-a-kind birthday gift. She loved the fact that what she was giving was specifically for that person and could not be bought at the local Wal-Mart. Gradually, jewelry fever circulated and Designs & Imaging By Xenia was born in 2001. By day she worked designing ads and street maps for cities and businesses around the Southeastern US and by night she beaded her heart out. Slowly, her talents seemed to spread into other realms of articulation and in February 2005 she quit her job to follow her artistic path and take the business head-on and full-time. From pyrographic painted decorative boxes to polymer clay dragons and faeries, she has you captivated with her colorful imagination.
