Teddy bear artist, Denise Ilmanen, has been designing and handmaking miniature teds, known as The Galloping Bears, since 1992. Once the design has been finalized each bear takes a minimum of 8 hours to complete. They range in size from 2 to 3-1/2 and are fully jointed (meaning that the arms, legs & heads move) and filled with either steel shot (for a bean bag feel) or polyester fiberfil. The Galloping Bears prices range from about $65 to $120.
