My snowflakes are an exceptionally fine gift. They are jewel-like because of the way I use the grain to create a beautiful starburst effect. They are thin and delicate. Ten of them weigh only one ounce, making them ideal Christmas tree decorations. They are about 4 in diameter and about 1/16 thick; and are finished with two coats of clear shellac and five or more coats of clear acrylic lacquer to enhance the natural colors of the wood. Each ornament is packaged in a gold foil box and includes a tag describing the wood and a card explaining how to care for it. I create a new design each year. Ten snowflake designs are currently available. I also have started a line of religious ornaments, with Davids Star, Stained Glass Cross, Jerusalem Cross, Kings Cross, and now Eastern Cross.
