Pyrography, also known as wood burning art or fire writing is the primitive skill of burning Artwork into wood. It dates back to ancient cultures such as the Celts, Native American, African, Mayan, Nordic, Middle Eastern & numerous other Primitive Cultures. I have always been intrigued by the Celts, as youll see in most of my creations. The majority of my work is Faeries and Fantasy. All of my items are one of a kind and cannot be duplicated. I can re-create something similar but not the exact duplicate. Every item I design is catalogued and has its own special number attached to assure its authenticity. I can also work with you on a commision basis to create your own exclusive piece of Art! Each peice takes anywhere from 2 hours to 200+ hours to complete. The length of time all depends on the wood and the design. Through her love of the Celtic Culture she embraces the true spirit of the ancient people in a way that makes one feel as though they are actually in the land of the Celts. This Artist’s talent appeals to a multitude of cultural and ethnic backgrounds, be it, Celtic, Native American, African, Mayan, Nordic or Middle Eastern. Her work is universally pleasing to all, as pyrography can be found in all ancient cultures of the world. Each piece is a wonderful journey meant to aesthetically please and to touch the hearts of all. Mrs. Lee is also the Founder of W.E.A.A. “Westside Eclectic Artisans Alliance” An organization developed for Artists of all genres to come together, get involved and promote each other in the hopes of return clientele.
